Ron Dorsey | Owner

Mr. Dorsey has over 25 years of progressive internal audit and consulting experience within the financial services industry.  He specialized in enterprise risk management and operational efficiency with a focus on Sarbanes-Oxely utilizing the COSO framework.  He has a B.S. in Accounting, a Masters in Public Administration, a Masters in Education and an MBA in Finance. With a desire to leave the highly political culture of corporate America and spend more time with his family, in 2011, Mr. Dorsey turned his passion for art and fine furnishings into Dorsey Antiques. He is an advocate for education both formal and informal and enjoys spending time with his best friend and wife of almost thirty years, Paula.  In his spare time, Mr. Dorsey enjoys bike riding and jogging as well as playing the guitar, bass, and piano.

Paula A. Dorsey | Owner

Mrs. Dorsey is currently a tenured 5th grade teacher; however, she started her career in marketing over twenty-five years ago and specialized in yellow page advertising, marketing financial products, event planning and corporate hospitality. She has conducted events at the NBA All Star Game, NFL Super Bowl, PGA Championship, U.S. Open Tennis Championship and the Ryder Cup. Mrs. Dorsey has a B.A. in Marketing Communications and a Masters in Education with honors. She will be retiring from teaching and will be working full-time for Dorsey Antiques starting in the fall of 2020.  Mrs. Dorsey enjoys bike riding and jogging as well as long walks and engaging conversations with her husband, Ron.  She is also an avid reader of anything pertaining to history with a focus on American presidents.

Megan Dorsey | Cataloguer and Marketing Specialist

With an affinity for art history and antiques since she was very young, Megan has continued to pursue this passion with internships, which most recently include Chicago based auction house, Leslie Hindman Auctioneers and the Racine Art Museum where she aided in researching and installing works of art.  She has also used her strong writing skills and expertise in art history to write detailed descriptions of items for sale at local businesses and auction houses. Megan has a B.A. in Art History with plans to pursue a Masters Degree.  She enjoys going to museums and galleries, traveling, playing the guitar, touring historic homes, and kayaking.
